	2006 Calaveras County Big John's Vineyard Zinfandel Classic Zin aromas of raspberry, blackberry and cinnamon once again take center stage from this very consistent vineyard. It is also showing bright plum, grape and raspberry flavors, along with a touch of oak. 	2005 Calaveras County “Train Wreck ” Red Wine Strong aromas of apricots, peaches and ginger-spice combine to create a hedonistic and exotic concoction. Creamy and peachy flavors dominate the mouth along with subtle hints of ginger, pine and “forest floor” tones. 	2005 Calaveras County "Meritage" Red Blend (65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 11% Petit Verdot) A multitude of spicy aromas dominate this wine. Clove, nutmeg, vanilla, coriander and sage are the primary aromas. Blackberry, currants, tobacco and fennel also combine for a very complex aroma profile. The flavors mirror the blackberries and currants. The mouthfeel is soft, velvety and quite seductive and the tannins have been tamed. 	2006 Calaveras County “El Portal” Red Blend (85% Petite Sirah, 15% Zinfandel) "Deep dark plum and jammy aromas are complemented by raspberry and spice aromas, along with a good dose of oak. The flavors fruit-forward wine are bright blueberries and raspberries, but also show some nutmeg and cinnamon spice flavors, along with allspice and oak.
